Fallenstar gazed hopelessly into the murky run-off water they called a lake. It was so depressing here. The rain almost all the time. She looked up at the cloudy sky. The only thing that kept her going was her Clan. She was going to sty strong for them, or she would try.
Fallenstar rose from her sitting position and looked around her. She walked up to the filthy water and bent her head down to drink. The Clan didn't have anywhere else to drink besides the filthy pool because of the twoleg rubbish.
Suddenly her eyes flashed. A fish! You can catch this Fallenstar, you can! The Clan needs prey! She stuck her paw out slowley, her blood pounding in her ears. Smack! Swish! Her paw shot in and out of the water in a mater of seconds. A fish lay flopping on the ground beside her. She stuck her paw out and set it on top of it. The fish squirmed. She unsheathed her claws, they sunk into the scaley flesh. The fish riggled then died. She happily picked it up and buried it behind her. Immedietly she went back to scanning the lake. if one fish was in it there had to be more!

Tail twitching, yellow eyes set on the female below her, Tallpaw made her way carefully along the lowest branch above Fallenstar. The blood was pounding in her ears and she was almost afraid that her leader could hear her heartbeat, but the thoughts of adventure and her confidence soon took over and pushed the fear to the back of her mind.
Narrowing her eyes, Tallpaw flexed her claws wearily before pouncing at Fallenstar, angling herself so the she-cat could see her at the corner of her eye if she wasn't paying all of her attention on getting the fish. Tallpaw didn't understand why the leader didn't just eat the fish she had, surely it would be a waste of it dried up that quickly? She meowed loudly, making sure her claws weren't out.
